Applying for jobs can be daunting when you're competing with hundreds of other applicants for any given opportunity. Meet with one of our Career Development Specialists for a personalized consultation and learn how you can stand out. Consultation services include:
Did you know that hiring managers spend less than 11 seconds looking at a resume? Have one of our specialists review your resumé to make sure it will catch someone's eye, so it doesn't end up in the pile of rejected applications.
Schedule a practice interview and our specialist will ask you questions you can expect in real interviews like "what is your greatest weakness?" and "tell me about a time when you had to deal with an upset co-worker or customer." It's a great opportunity for you to familiarize yourself with the interview process without the risk of making mistakes that could cost you a job!
LinkedIn is a great tool for connecting with potential employers and future colleagues. Have one of our specialists review your profile to ensure it will get you noticed.
Have you been applying for jobs and getting no responses? Maybe you're not even sure where to start. We can take a closer look at how you've been going about your job search to identify potential areas for improvement, so you can increase your chances of success.
A Co-Curricular Record (CCR) allows you to show employers the transferable skills and competencies you’ve achieved through co-curricular experiences. By taking part in CCR activities, you will receive an industry-recognized certificate that complements your transcript, making you a well-rounded candidate for any career opportunity.
