Dental Clinic
Dental Assisting students offer dental services at our on-campus clinic from January to May each year and preventative dentistry throughout the year.
Appointments are approximately two to three hours long and focus on education and prevention of oral diseases. Book an appointment today.
The SAIT Dental Clinic operates to provide our Dental Assisting students with practical experience under the supervision of licensed dental health care professionals.
Our students provide a professional and relaxed atmosphere with an emphasis on oral hygiene instruction and the prevention of oral diseases. Although our services do not replace regular dental exams, they can help families that are unable to visit a dentist on a regular basis, and can significantly reduce the cost of your next visit with a family dentist.
Dental services and fees
A dental exam is not provided, and your appointment at the SAIT Dental Clinic is not meant to replace your regular dental examination with your family dentist. Please note that we do not currently offer restorative treatment such as fillings, crowns or root canals.

Fluoride - Fluoride is a mineral that occurs naturally in many foods and water. Topical fluoride is placed on the outer surfaces of the teeth to help prevent tooth decay.
Desensitizing - This treatment will be offered to patients who suffer from dental hypersensitivity at their polish appointment. A fluoride varnish will be applied to sensitive teeth.
Fees: $25 per person per service | $50 per family of 3 or more living at the same address
X-ray services are provided to patients four years of age and older. Each x-ray is processed at SAIT and provided to you at the end of your appointment.
Your dentist can prescribe the x-rays required or the dentist on staff at SAIT can determine which x-rays are required.Fees: $25 per person per service | $50 per family of three or more living at the same address
