At SAIT, you can host everything from an intimate gathering of 20 to larger celebrations of up to 1,400 guests at a range of venues across campus, including the Taylor Family Event Centre. Begin your day getting ready in a penthouse suite, then move easily from ceremony to reception in just a few steps.
Set in central Calgary, SAIT offers convenient access for you and your guests, with direct CTrain connectivity and a variety of nearby photo locations, including Riley Park and other scenic spots within walking distance.
Venues and packages
Our venues can accommodate both your ceremony and reception, with flexible layouts for seated or stand-up events. For those looking to celebrate outdoors, host your ceremony on the steps of Heritage Hall, with its 1920s façade as your backdrop and views of the Calgary skyline beyond your guests.
Each package includes an on-site event specialist to support venue logistics on the day of your event, ensuring the space is set, supporting transitions and maintaining the overall flow within the space.

Curated Catering powered by Hotel Arts
Curated Catering by Hotel Arts is SAIT's exclusive caterer for events on campus.
Renowned for inventive cuisine and impeccable service, Curated Catering creates unforgettable dining experiences. The special event and wedding menus feature gourmet dishes with an artful presentation, blending bold flavours with personalized hospitality. Let Hotel Arts elevate your occasion with exceptional taste and seamless service.
With each service, we will provide:
- tableware settings – plates, cutlery, napkins and glassware
- bar setup – includes a bartender, glassware, and mixers (one bar per 100 guests)
- dedicated catering specialist – your single point of contact for seamless planning
- transportation – delivery of all food, beverages, and equipment
- complete clean-up – removal of all items and full venue restoration
All food and beverages with the exception of cake, must be provided through Curated Catering. We are happy to create a custom à la carte menu and bring in any additional spirits and wine to personalize your reception.

Accommodations
It’s easy for you and your guests to stay close to the celebration with on-campus accommodations at SAIT.
Couples can get ready in our penthouse suite, located on the 22nd floor of Begin Tower. Hotel-style guest rooms are located on the same floor, making it easy for your wedding party and close family to stay together as you prepare for the day.
Our residences offer a range of options, including spacious two- to four-bedroom suites, ideal for families and groups travelling together. Just steps from your venue, on-campus accommodation allows guests to settle in, relax and enjoy the day without the need to commute.
With direct access to the CTrain and a central location, your guests can easily explore Calgary while staying close to your celebration.

Additional notes
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required upon booking in order to confirm your wedding date. Licensee may terminate the agreement by giving SAIT written notice at least 30 business days prior. Balance owing is processed seven days prior to event.
SAIT requires General Liability Insurance ($5 million) for all groups renting its facilities. Insurance coverage will need to specify the room and date(s) the room will be used. This would include set up and tear down dates, ceremony and reception venues, as well as the rehearsal date. Third-party insurance is available through SAIT.
Our penthouse suite is the perfect place to use as your space to prepare for your big day. We offer brunch and lunch menus available to keep you and your wedding party nourished before walking down the aisle.
SAIT is a popular site for photography thanks to its picturesque architecture and spectacular views. Photographers wishing to photograph on SAIT campus are welcome to do so by following our photography guidelines. If you are hosting your ceremony or reception at SAIT, the photography fee is included in the price.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
