Get a glimpse into professional life after you’ve crossed the stage here at SAIT, and learn how to improve your interpersonal communication skills, grow your professional network, enhance your understanding of the workplace and explore potential career paths.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply if you:

  • Are a current full-time credit-student in your second year of study or higher
  • Are able to commit to the full 12-week program (suggested 1-hour weekly meetings) and complete additional activities assigned by your mentor
  • Have completed the mandatory application and student training quiz

Submitting your application

To get started, click the login button on the main My Career Hub (MCH) landing page.

My Career Hub

Select “Student Login” and enter your SAIT email address and password. Once logged in, you will see the MCH menu on the left. Click on “Industry Mentorship” to start your application.

You will hear back on the status of your application one week before the program start date.

Interested in becoming an industry mentor?

Being an industry mentor is a great way to share your experiences and passion for your field with a student who’s eager to learn — while gaining new skills yourself, like leadership, guidance and interpersonal skills.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
