What is CASPer

CASPer is an online, open-response situational judgment test (SJT). It asks what you would do in a tough situation, and more importantly, why. This helps determine behavioral tendencies of applicants pursuing people-centered professions like healthcare.

  • The assessment is comprised of 2 sections containing 11 video and written scenarios.
  • These scenarios evaluate skills like collaboration, communication, empathy, fairness, ethics, motivation, problem solving, professionalism, resilience and self-awareness.
  • Following each scenario, you will have a set amount of time to answer a set of probing questions. Proficient typing skills will be an asset to applicants.
  • Visit the CASPer site to for additional CASPer test information.
