Student-athlete wellbeing services

The Athletic Therapy clinic provides support services to help our Trojans student-athletes succeed in class, in their sport and in life after their playing career. The clinic works with various educational departments and services at SAIT to offer a variety of different supports to Trojans student-athletes.

As part of the SAIT Trojans support team, we have full-time athletic therapists and student athletic therapists who work at games and in the clinic to ensure the safety of our athletes, staff, and spectators. We provide care for various injuries, whether that is acute care at the game or rehabilitation for a long-term injury in the clinic.

The mission of the Athletic Therapy clinic is to create a safe environment for student-athletes, while also providing the necessary skills for them to live a healthy and successful life after completing their education and playing career.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
