SAIT supplier services

What is a SAIT supplier?

Individuals and companies that provide goods or services to SAIT are suppliers. Suppliers can range from suppliers of office materials to suppliers offering specialized services. They play a crucial role in supporting SAIT’s business needs and helping deliver value to our customers.

SAIT suppliers include corporations, partnerships, and individuals. Anyone or any company that is providing goods or services to SAIT is considered a SAIT supplier.

The first step is to request a ServiceNow account with SAIT. Please reach out to your SAIT contact or purchasing officer for more information on setting up an account.

All SAIT Suppliers must be set up with a vendor ID and profile to facilitate purchase orders, payments, and compliance reporting.

As part of our commitment to ethical sourcing and compliance with Canadian legislation, SAIT requires vendors to acknowledge their obligations under the Fighting Against Forced Labour and Child Labour in Supply Chains Act (formerly Bill S-211).

All suppliers must complete the mandatory BS-211 questions when updating their vendor information with SAIT.

Please get in touch with us for any vendor-related questions at vendor.admin@sait.ca.

Procurement and competitive bid opportunities

In compliance with the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), SAIT complies with the procurement guidelines and thresholds outlined in the NWPTA Agreement and advertises procurement initiatives on the Alberta Purchasing Connection electronic tendering website, and/or the Calgary Construction Association's electronic tendering website.

SAIT uses Bonfire as its one-stop sourcing tool for electronic bid submission and communication.

Register for free as a Bonfire vendor

As a registered vendor, you may opt-in to receive Bonfire notifications on bid opportunities that match Commodity Codes you have listed in your vendor account. You do not need to register again if you have already registered with Bonfire on another organization’s portal. Learn more about being a bonfire vendor

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
