Hours: Tuesday through Thursday, 11 am – 3 pm.

Amenities: The space offers self-care tools, including:

Our Student Zen Den was developed with funding from the Post-Secondary Student Mental Health Grant through the Government of Alberta.

Zen Den Basics

The Zen Den is a space for self-care. It is not a study space, lunch room, gaming spot or nap room.

Be friendly and respectful to others when using the Zen Den. Keep conversations to a whisper and take phone calls outside.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
