Stay at SAIT

Calgary is nestled between the Canadian Prairies and the Rocky Mountains, making it a gateway destination to some of Canada's most stunning natural wonders in the West. You'll enjoy our big-city vibe with small-town hospitality.

We are a close driving distance to Banff and Lake Louise and attract over seven million visitors a year, with over a million visiting the Calgary Stampede, held in July.

With over 10,000 acres of parkland and some of the most extensive pathways and trails of any Canadian city, there is much to do and see in Canada's sunniest city.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
