Program suspended

Our Student Honour Society will be temporarily paused beginning this Spring. If you’re interested in participating, please check back for updates.

Your hard work and academic excellence will still be celebrated. Students who meet the following conditions will still receive an honours designation on their SAIT credential upon graduation:

  • graduate with a cumulative program grade point average of 3.8 or higher;
  • pass all courses on their first attempt;
  • complete the graduation requirements of the program within the specified time restriction;
  • have completed at least 50% of the credits required for their program at SAIT; and,
  • have completed a program approved by the Alberta government.

Please contact the Office of the Registrar for any questions related to graduating with an honours designation.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
