We are here to support you every step of the way, from when you begin your apprenticeship to your final day of training. We have tailored our services and resources to provide you with the support you need to succeed in your program.
If you've been out of school for some time and your math, reading and study skills could use some sharpening, we offer courses to help you prepare for training.
Start by assessing your current math and reading skills. Based on your quiz results, we can suggest next steps. Then register in an orientation session that works with your schedule and in our math skills preparation course.

PREP 145: Orientation for Apprentices
PREP 145 is a free study skills course for apprentices — and the smartest six hours you'll spend at SAIT.
Discover your learning style, develop memory techniques, learn effective ways to conquer your modules, get tips on how to write multiple choice tests and prepare for your apprenticeship exam.
Note: Apprentices are required to take this course by the end of the first week of training.

The PREP 145 course fills quickly so reserve your spot as soon as possible and make sure to have your SAIT ID number ready.
MATH 145: Math Prep for Apprentices
Build your fundamental math skills in algebra and geometry with this free course for apprentices. MATH 145 includes 18 hours of in-class instruction offered over six sessions.

For support during your apprenticeship program at SAIT, you will need to meet with an Accessibility Advisor two months before training begins, for each year the program is running.
