Federal Pathways to Permanent Residency

Are you an international student interested in staying in Canada after graduation? This webinar provides an overview of federal permanent residency (PR) pathways that may be available to international students, including key programs under the Express Entry system and other federal options.

The SAIT International Student Advising team will walk through important concepts, eligibility considerations, and common requirements to help you better understand how federal PR pathways work and how they may relate to your future plans. This session is intended as general information and does not provide legal advice.

There will be dedicated time at the end of the session for students to ask questions.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
