You’re Not Overreacting: Understanding Boundaries
The International Centre, in collaboration with the Environmental Health, Safety, and Wellness team, invites international students to join an interactive session focused on personal boundaries, safety, and support at SAIT.
Led by the Security and Emergency Services team, this session will help you learn:
- What personal boundaries are and why they matter
- How to respond to situations that feel uncomfortable or unsafe
- Where to find help and support on campus—for yourself or a friend
This welcoming and practical session is designed to help international students feel more confident about staying safe and knowing where to turn for support while studying at SAIT.
Light lunch will be provided.
Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.
SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
