Hannah Mae Tolentino is currently serving as Vice President of the Saitsa Board of Directors for the 2025/26 academic year. She is pursuing a Diploma in Software Development at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), following earlier studies in Political Science and Philosophy at the University of Calgary.
Driven by a passion for student advocacy and meaningful community engagement, Hannah brings a collaborative and equity-focused approach to student leadership. In her role at Saitsa, she supports institutional governance, strategic direction, and student-focused initiatives. She works closely with internal and external partners to ensure that diverse student voices are reflected in key conversations.
Hannah is the Founder and President of SAIT Lifeline, a student club created in partnership with Canadian Blood Services to raise awareness around blood, plasma, and stem cell donation. She also serves as an In-Centre Hospitality Volunteer with the organization, reinforcing her commitment to service and health advocacy.
Her previous experience includes working as a Student Experience Assistant at the Saitsa Resource Centre, where she strengthened front-line support systems and contributed to operational improvements.
Hannah is passionate about building a campus culture rooted in inclusion, compassion, and collective empowerment. Through her work, she aims to help students feel heard, represented, and connected.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
