Jeff Stransky, SAIT Ombudsperson

With over 20 years of experience in the post-secondary sector, Jeff spent the previous six years as Ombudsperson at the University of Calgary before moving to SAIT. 

A graduate of the University of Waterloo, he brings a wealth of knowledge, supported by certificates in human rights from Osgoode Hall Law School and the Alberta Human Rights Commission.

Jeff is committed to ensuring fairness, equity, and support for all SAIT students.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
