In your first semester, you’ll learn at the Calgary campus and build fundamental skills in applied hospitality service and organizational culture, while also covering sales, marketing and financial and operational management.

During your second semester, you’ll move to SAIT’s new Banff campus, where you’ll participate in a practicum with an industry partner and learn about leading high-performing teams, global hospitality and tourism, industry sustainability, entrepreneurship, industry operations and more. You’ll culminate all your skills in your final semester and get real-world industry experience with a four-month paid work-integrated learning opportunity in the Bow Valley region.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
