Life at SAIT
Grace is an accomplished leader with over 15 years of dedicated service at SAIT. In her time at SAIT, Grace has consistently demonstrated a passion for education and a commitment to accessible applied learning experiences. As Associate Dean - Operational Excellence for the School of Business, she leads a dynamic team of experts in work-integrated learning, operations, teaching and learning, and administration, all of whom work tirelessly behind the scenes to enable faculty and students to thrive inside the classroom.
Education
Grace holds a bachelor’s in management from Athabasca University and has completed a variety of training and certifications, including The Chair Academy foundation program, effective intercultural communication courses, and occupational health and safety training as Co-Chair for the School’s Health, Safety, and Environment Committee.
Professional accomplishments
Before becoming Associate Dean, Grace served in various roles within the School, most recently as Academic Chair for Part-time Studies. As Chair, she led the delivery of a wide range of certificate, diploma, and applied degree programs for those looking to advance or change careers as well as for those at the start of their professional journey. Her strategic vision drove the development and successful launch of five new certificate programs and the Bachelor of Business Administration degree’s Financial Technology and Innovation major.
Outside of SAIT, Grace is a board member for the Synergy Youth and Community Development Society, a non-profit located in Chestermere, Alberta focused on empowering youth and families through leadership, wellness programs, and accessible counseling services. Education and youth empowerment are forever close to Grace’s heart as a mother to two active, creative child

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
