Jodi David

Jodi began her career in finance after attending Bow Valley College. She worked in a variety of industries in Canada and Australia (everything from land surveying to marketing to healthcare to the arts!), finally transitioning into the wild world of academia in 2009.

Academia and the brilliant scientists in it quickly became her passion; to work behind the scenes, helping innovative visions from innovative minds become a reality! She brings over 13 years of extensive experience in research project management, finance and administration in university and college environments. Securing tens of millions in funding for the University of Calgary’s Schulich School of Engineering and its various multi-national research programs, Jodi is highly skilled in facilitating research programs, balancing the diverse needs of stakeholders and creating strong collaborative relationships.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
