Join SAIT at the Calgary Pride Parade

Be loud, be proud, be seen, be celebrated! Join SAIT at the Calgary Pride Parade. 🌈

Students, employees, alumni, family members and allies are invited to join SAIT as we celebrate diversity, inclusion and belonging.

The Calgary Pride Parade is an opportunity to come together, show our support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and celebrate the many identities that make SAIT a welcoming place to learn, work and grow.

Whether this is your first Pride Parade or your fifteenth, everyone is welcome. Expect music, laughter, colourful outfits and celebrate Pride through downtown Calgary.

Parade Route:
Downtown Calgary along 9 Avenue SW (from 5 Street SW to 4 Street SE)

Additional details:
Meeting location, and parade-day instructions will be shared with registered participants closer to the event.

We hope you'll join us in the parade and help show that SAIT is a place where everyone belongs. 🌈

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
