Provincial Pathways to Permanent Residency

Are you an international student interested in permanent residency options through Alberta’s provincial immigration program? This webinar focuses specifically on the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) and how it may apply to international students and graduates.

The SAIT International Student Advising team will review key concepts related to the AAIP, including general eligibility considerations and commonly discussed AAIP streams. This session is designed to help students better understand how the AAIP works and how it may fit into their longer‑term immigration planning. The information shared is general in nature and does not constitute legal advice.

There will be dedicated time during the session for students to ask questions.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
