International Work Integrated Learning Pre-Departure Orientation
Taking your work placement international?
Join Study Abroad for our monthly international WIL pre-departure session — a one-time, mandatory session to make sure you're set up and supported before you leave. Sessions are offered the second Thursday of every month.
You must select a session occurring at least 6 weeks before your departure to ensure you have enough time to complete the necessary requirements.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
