Transit and Parking
SAIT's main campus is an inner-city campus, so there's great transit service in place for students, employees and visitors.
Students and employees get a significant discount on transit rates. The SAIT UPass costs $140 per semester (four months) and is included in tuition fees for most full-time programs.
The CTrain stops at the SAIT/ACAD/Jubilee station and the following bus routes provide direct service to SAIT:
|Stop location||Route numbers|
|10th Street NW||4, 5, 145, 404|
|16th Avenue NW||19|
|Lions Park Station and 14th Street NW||10, 19, 40, 89, 91, 404, 405, 414|
|(Aero Centre) McCall WY @ McCall LD NE||57|
|(Mayland) Centre AV and 19 ST E||27, 33, 127|
Visit Calgary Transit online for route and schedule information.
Note: SAIT/ACAD/Jubilee station upgrades are taking place through December 2017. The station platform remains open and is accessible only through the north entrance. The plus 15 from SAIT's Campus Centre is currently closed. Learn more.
Biking to SAIT
SAIT main campus is near many far-reaching pathways and is located on the 10th street bike lane. Bike racks are all over campus and bicycle lock boxes can be rented from Athletics & Recreation. There are two bike locker locations available:
- In front of the Gateway on the west side of the soccer field.
- In L3 of the P6 parkade.
Call 403.284.8027 to rent a bike locker.
UPass programs require an identification card with the participant's picture. Once the UPass fee has been paid, the Institution (often the Registrar's Office) will affix a sticker onto the identification card. This card now becomes your transit fare medium. Simply show your card with valid sticker to the bus driver or the Protective Services Officers if on the CTrain.
UPass use is not restricted to the day or time it can be used. The UPass provides unlimited rides.

Parking is available at multiple lots on the SAIT campus.
