Life at SAIT
Blair started his career at SAIT as an Architectural Technologies instructor with the School of Construction before becoming an Academic Chair for the Bachelor of Science Construction Project Managment and Bachelor of Applied Technology Geographic Information Systems programs.
When he is not advising and supporting students in these programs, Blair is a part of many committees including:
- Academic Council Policy sub-committee
- School of Construction Heath, Safety and Environment committee
- Academic Integrity Council
- Study Abroad Advisory committee
As an active and engaged member of the community, Blair has contributed to many projects and continues to look for opportunties to participate in any initiative that helps move students’ lives forward.
Education
Blair holds a BA from Concordia University and a Masters in Architecure from the University of Calgary. He also completed the Chair Academy program at SAIT.

When Blair is not at SAIT he's honing his creative skills! He has written 238 songs, 12 short stories and counting.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
