Life at SAIT 

Marvellous joined the School of Business in 2021, bringing a wealth of expertise in business analytics and Microsoft tools. She has taught a diverse range of courses, including MNGT 321 - Project Management, Microsoft Access - BCMP 320, and MNGT 322/2322 - Information Systems and Data Analytics.

With a unique background that combines science and business, Marvellous is passionate about fostering a positive, energetic learning environment. She believes teaching to be a symbiotic process and a two-way street, where the more you teach, the more you learn. Her mission is to empower students with practical, real-world skills while inspiring confidence and resilience. 

Outside the classroom, Marvellous enjoys singing, dancing, and celebrating life's moments with family and friends. She approaches every challenge with a dynamic mindset and encourages her students to do the same, famously reminding them, "You have all it takes to crush your goals!" 

Education 

Marvellous holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Covenant University in Nigeria and a Master’s in Library and Information Studies (Data Analytics) from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada. She is also a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), blending technical expertise with innovative project management skills. 

Professional Accomplishments 

Before joining SAIT, Marvellous made significant strides in the learning and development field. She has designed and upgraded over 220 learning curricula, achieving an impressive ROI of 87%. As a seasoned instructional designer, she has delivered leadership training programs on conflict management, team building, and organizational development, resulting in a 77% improvement in employee retention rates. 

In her role as Learning and Development Administrator at CDI College and POINT Integrated Data Solutions, Marvellous demonstrated exceptional skills in curriculum development, facilitation, and employee professional development. Her initiatives have fostered collaboration, improved training outcomes, and driven organizational success. 

Marvellous has also worked on cutting-edge projects in data analytics, utilizing tools such as Tableau, IBM Cognos, and SAP Predictive Analytics to transform raw data into actionable insights. Whether leading strategic initiatives, teaching advanced business tools, or mentoring students, she continues to exemplify the power of combining technology and human connection.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
