Immigration document upload process

To ensure that all international students hold valid authorization to study in Canada, SAIT requires students to upload a copy of their valid study permit through the online portal

You must be logged into your SAIT email account to access the document upload form. If you have submitted a study permit extension application and do not yet have your new permit, please email copy of your most recent study permit and proof of your extension submission to international@sait.ca instead of uploading it through the portal.

You may also choose to upload a copy of your passport and/or Temporary Resident Visa (TRV); however, these documents are optional.

Please note that uploading proof of your valid authorization to study in Canada is mandatory. If this document is not submitted, a registration hold will be placed on your student account, which will prevent you from registering for courses in the upcoming term.

Once you upload your immigration documents, you will automatically be enrolled in an immigration document reminder system. You will receive automated notifications regarding upcoming document expiry dates.

Disclaimer: While you will receive reminders about upcoming expiry dates for your immigration documents, it remains your responsibility to monitor these dates and submit any required extension applications before your documents expire.

If you have any questions or require assistance, please contact us at international@sait.ca.

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
