Focus Hour: Work Alongside Others, Get Things Done

Need a little help getting started, staying focused, or working through a task? Join us for Focus Hour, a body doubling drop-in session where students work independently in the same space. There are no group activities and no pressure to socialize. Simply bring a task you'd like to complete and use the shared environment to build momentum and stay accountable.

Body doubling can be especially helpful for reducing procrastination, improving focus, and making large or overwhelming tasks feel more manageable.

📅 Tuesdays, 3 - 4 pm

Oki, Âba wathtech, Danit'ada, Tawnshi, Hello.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.

We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
