Truth and Reconciliation Event Series - Orange Shirt Day March
Join us for our annual Orange Shirt Day March across the SAIT campus as we come together to honour the children who never returned home, Survivors, their families and communities.
Wear your orange shirt and meet at the Tipi before we march across campus together. Orange shirts are also available for purchase at the SAIT Bookstore. Join us afterward for cupcakes.
The march will take place on Sept. 29 from 11:30 am – 1 pm.
No registration is required for this event.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
