About the camp

Learn about nutrition, explore agriculture locations surrounding Calgary and — most importantly — eat! Use local ingredients to plan, prepare and share snacks that will combine all your knowledge into a nutritious masterpiece!

Notes and requirements
  • Dress code: All campers are required to wear closed-toe shoes and full-length pants in the kitchen. Participants with long hair should bring elastics to tie back their hair.
  • Allergy alert: Camp includes the preparation of foods containing nuts, fish and seafood. SAIT's kitchens and bakeries process nuts and other allergens.
  • Field trip: subject to availability.

SAIT Summer Camps is pleased to offer a lunch program for our campers. Our lunch program features a daily hot lunch option, as well as salad, a selection of fresh fruit, a dessert option and a choice of juice or milk.

Before and aftercare

SAIT Summer Camps is pleased to offer complimentary before and aftercare out of the Johnson-Cobbe or Campus Centre for all participants. Families do not need to register for this additional service.
