Offer and Confirmation Letters

If you are offered a seat for a credit program at SAIT, you will be sent an offer letter. This will be sent via email only if the below conditions have been met.

  • You have applied through Apply Alberta or SAIT’s Self-Service system have submitted official transcripts or anticipated final grades to confirm you meet or will meet the admission requirements before the appropriate application deadline.
  • There is space in your chosen program.

Your offer letter will include instructions to pay the appropriate tuition deposit including the payment deadline. Review after you apply for more on what to do if you’re offered a seat.

When you have paid your tuition deposit, you will receive a second letter confirming you have accepted your offer. If you’re an international student, you will need to include this letter when you apply for your study permit.

Confirmation of Enrolment

You may need to provide proof you are enrolled at SAIT. Choose the appropriate option below to find how you can receive a confirmation of enrolment letter for your given situation. Note: you must register for your classes before this letter can be issued.

Full or part-time credit students

Follow the steps below to request a confirmation of enrolment through mySAIT.

  1. Log in to mySAIT
  2. Go to the myStudent tab
  3. Choose Request Confirmation of Enrolment Letter
  4. Follow the remaining steps indicated in mySAIT

Your Confirmation of Enrolment letter will be uploaded to MyCreds™️ approximately five business days after you submit your request. You will receive an email from MyCreds, when your letter is available. Check your personal email or SAIT email for the MyCreds notification.

To share the letter with a third party, you must purchase “share credits” directly through MyCreds™ — each share credit costs $10 plus applicable taxes and allows you to share your letter once.  If you want to download a copy of the letter, you need to share the document with yourself in MyCreds first.

Some financial institutions or third-party organizations may require specific forms signed by SAIT. In this case, you can upload the appropriate forms and submit an inquiry through Freshdesk.

Note: If you’re an international student, this letter will only show the current academic term and is not intended for immigration purposes.  Should you require a letter for immigration matters, please submit your request through this form and a letter will be emailed to you in 3-5 business days.

Apprentices

All apprentices will automatically receive an email with a PDF confirmation attached one business day after completing your registration. This letter will contain all the same information as a confirmation of enrolment letter – it will be acceptable should you need to confirm enrolment for RESP purposes.

Non-credit

Please submit a new inquiry to request a confirmation of enrolment. Please review the following points to ensure your letter is provided as efficiently as possible.

  • Make sure to include your SAIT ID number.
  • Choose Confirmation of enrolment as the inquiry type.
  • Let us know you are a non-credit student in the description.

  • To share your Letter of Completion with a third party or download a version for yourself, you must purchase “share credits” directly from MyCreds™. Each credit costs $10 + applicable taxes and allows you to share your letter once.
