Fourth Class is the starting point for those looking to work with high pressure boilers. Successful completion of Part A prepares students to write the government Part A exam, and successful completion of Part B prepares students to write the government Part B exam. For full government certification as a Fourth Class Power Engineer, students must have also six months of relevant government approved work experience. Please note that students are unable to transfer between Classroom and Distance/Online offerings of this course. In order to switch between Classroom and Distance/Online offerings, students must withdraw from their current course and register in their desired course.
