In today’s fast-changing global business environment, an understanding of the legal requirements is critical for managers to ensure a productive and positive work place. This program is designed for professionals who manage and hire staff, or who want to improve relationships with HR and legal departments.
Through case studies and analysis, SAIT’s Employment Law program provides a thorough understanding of the laws, along with regulations and standards applicable to management. The modules will emphasize employment standards, privacy and human rights legislation, and offer an overview of labour relations and Occupational Health and Safety. This program is not meant as a substitute for legal advice and should not be considered as such.
This program is eligible for Canada-Alberta Job Grant funding.
