How we work
Applied Research and Innovation Services (ARIS) begins with an initial project inquiry, where organizations define their technology-development needs. With a successful project inquiry, we'll engage in non-disclosure agreements and partner meetings with lead researchers.
Together, we will undertake project planning and budgeting, and work with in-house grant writers to apply for funding. Once approvals are complete, the project will be executed and student researchers are engaged.
ARIS involves students in industry-based applied-research projects through practicum placements, capstone projects, and as student research assistants.
