Connect nowStep 1: Apply to a SAIT program
Choose a program and submit an application.
Step 2: Submit your educational documents
The method used to submit your documents will depend on whether you are a domestic or an international applicant.
- Log into mySAIT
- Click on the MyApplications tab at the top of the page.
- Choose the Submit Documents/Sufficient Evidence link on the left of the page.
- Complete the form and attach any relevant documents required for admission.
- Click Submit
- If successful, you will be taken to a confirmation page.
- You will be sent a confirmation email
- Log into mySAIT
- Click on the MyApplications tab at the top of the page.
- Choose the Submit Documents/Sufficient Evidence link on the left of the page.
- Complete the form and attach any relevant documents required for admission.
- Click Submit
- If successful, you will be taken to a confirmation page.
- You will be sent a confirmation email
To submit educational documents at the time of application:
- Select Upload other documents (optional)
- Choose the document type from the drop-down menu
- Upload documents
- Click Save
Educational documents can be added to your application at any time by logging into your account at sait.vasuniverse.com.
- Select the application under View applications
- Click Upload document
- Choose the document type from the drop-down menu.
- Upload documents
- Click Save
Step 3: Accepted educational documents
Please submit your original secondary school/ or post-secondary documents with certified English translations. Scan your original documents in colour. Please do not send us original documents, for any questions or technical issues when submitting your documents to us please contact inquiry@sait.ca.
Make sure to include the following:
- Secondary and/or post-secondary transcripts, mark sheets, and examination results.
- Secondary diploma or graduation certificate and/or post-secondary degree.
- Explanation of the grading scale is often found on the back or the front page of certifications or transcripts.
- Original educational documents (in original language). If your original documents were not issued in English, you must provide certified translations.
- Your transcripts must show at least three years of consecutive education (secondary and/or post-secondary).
- If your name has changed, we will require validation of name change (marriage certificate, etc.).

If you have documents from the following countries, you must include additional information. Select the country for specific requirements.
- Original graduation certificate (may be requested)
- Original academic transcript
Original external examination: GCSE, GCE O level, GCE A/S level, GCE A level listing all final examination results issued by the appropriate examining body such as:
- Original graduation diploma (e.g. Diplôme du Baccalauréat)
- Final examination results (Relevé de Notes de l'Examen Final) issued by Ministère de l'Education Nationale/Académie Régionale listing all final exam results

Original secondary school documents required:
- Intermediate Examination Certificate and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and mark sheets issued by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education.
Original post-secondary documents required:
- Final or provisional graduation certificate (diploma, bachelor, masters)
- Individual mark sheet or result card for each year of study listing all subjects and grades

If your education does not fall under the new K to 12 system, we strongly suggest that you submit post-secondary education.

International post-secondary institutions
SAIT may also accept courses completed at certain international post-secondary institutions. Find more information here.
Certified translation
All documentation must be translated into English, signed and stamped by a certified translator. We will not accept translations from an associate member. We will accept translations completed by an official translator in your home country.
What to expect
Once all of the required educational documents have been submitted, the assessment will be completed within six weeks. You can monitor your application status at mySAIT.ca.

- Academic Credentials Assessment Service (ACAS): This assessment service is no longer available but we will continue to accept previous ACAS evaluations for admission
- Education Credential Evaluators (ECE): Course-by-Course Assessment
Step 4: Meet SAIT's English proficiency requirement
If your primary language of instruction was not English, you will be required to submit a valid English proficiency assessment test score completed within the last 12 months. If you don't meet the English proficiency requirement, consider English Language Foundations.
