SAIT was finalizing its new Strategic Plan — New World. New Thinking. — when COVID-19 changed the world more than a year ago. That plan is our commitment to playing a leadership role in rebuilding Calgary’s economy. It anticipates a future in which data and digital literacy are table stakes and future-proofed workers are those able to easily satisfy a continuous cycle of lifelong learning.
The pandemic was our strategy’s first test. Throughout the nine months of this reporting period, we prioritized finding innovative ways to provide quality applied education while mitigating the risks of COVID-19.Read the report

Student and Entrance Awards Guide
Student awards are available to all qualifying SAIT students in recognition of academic success, financial need, community involvement and more.

Each year SAIT conducts a survey to determine the employment rate, salaries and satisfaction of our newest SAIT alumni.
The Graduate Employment Statistics report details the results for SAIT's recent graduates in finding employment and moving ahead in their careers. Results are reported by academic school and careers.
At SAIT, we arm our students with career-ready skills to launch or advance their careers. And each year, we conduct a SAIT-wide survey to determine how our newest SAIT alumni are doing.

It embeds leadership and digital literacy across all programs and includes continuous and flexible learning, offers industry experience and connections, and develops career-ready, future-proofed graduates.
Guided by the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, over the next five years, we will lay the foundation for transformational change on our path to becoming a more inclusive organization.
Priority initiatives and specific strategies outlined in SAIT's 2019/22 Comprehensive Institutional Plan support the Government of Alberta's overall goals for the adult learning system of accessibility, affordability, quality, coordination and accountability and are aligned with SAIT's institutional mandate and Strategic Plan of 2015/20.
SAIT's priorities are also informed by its 2017/23 Global Strategy: Think Global - Creating Makers, Shapers and Originals around the World and 2017/20 Education Plan: Big Thinking, Applied.
In what will be a defining moment in our history, SAIT’s community faced the uncertainty of the pandemic and unleashed its collective energy, heart and talent to find new and innovative ways to shape the future.
This Indigenous Learner Success Strategy is the first step in our process of Indigenization and commits SAIT to take action toward four strategic priorities: access, success, awareness and community engagement.
Through our Aboriginal Resource Centre, the Chinook Lodge, SAIT offers a holistic approach to student success and well-being.
