School of Hospitality and Tourism ranked Top 50 in the world
The ranking is based on a survey of 18,000 hospitality recruiters and senior managers of luxury hotels around the world. SAIT is the only Canadian institution on the list.
Tom Bornhorst, Dean of the School of Hospitality and Tourism, says it's an honour to be included on the prestigious list — which includes the likes of Cornell University and Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
"Being included on this list reflects the quality of our programs, instructors, students and grads," says Bornhorst. "We're very proud to be acknowledged in this way — maintaining strong connections to industry is very important to us so it feels great to be recognized by a prominent industry magazine."
School of Hospitality and Tourism offers diploma, certificate and apprenticeship programs in Professional Cooking, Baking and Pastry Arts, Hospitality Management, Butchery and Charcuterie Management, Food and Beverage Leadership and Travel and Tourism.
