COVID-19 update

As of Friday, Dec. 10, COVID-19 rapid test results will no longer be able to be uploaded to SAITALERT. If you are using a rapid test, please show the paper copy of your negative results at a controlled entry to gain access to campus.

Beginning Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, negative rapid test results will no longer be accepted. Anyone accessing SAIT campuses will need to prove their vaccination status. See  accepted proof of vaccination. SAIT employees and students will need to upload their vaccine verification into the SAITALERT app to be considered in compliance with  SAIT’s Vaccine Protocol.

Due to the holiday season, please upload your vaccine verification to SAITALERT no later than  Friday, Dec. 17 to allow your verification to be processed prior to the start of the Winter term.

If you cannot complete your vaccination regime by Friday, Dec. 17 due to the adjustment in wait times between doses by the Government of Alberta, please contact  vaccine.verification@sait.ca.

SAIT and United Arab Emirates institution pilot virtual exchange program

SAIT and the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), the United Arab Emirates’ largest applied higher educational institution, have partnered to offer a virtual exchange program. 50 business students — half from SAIT, the other half from HCT — are enrolled in Organizational Behaviour, a pilot course taught by instructors from both institutions.

The partnership offers students a unique international and cultural learning opportunity and has the potential to expand to other virtual or physical exchanges as part of SAIT’s existing Study Abroad program.
