SAIT Update 10.13.2020
Countdown to Giving Day: Oct. 15
Giving Day is an annual 24-hour fundraising challenge that supports SAIT students. This year, funds raised will help reduce financial obstacles for students with disabilities, reward change makers who are moving the needle on LGBTQ2+ inclusion and boost our new School for Advanced Digital Technology.
My mind matters: Social wellness
The student wellness team #hereatSAIT invites you to invest in your mental well-being by learning about the eight dimensions of wellness.
What is social wellness? Social wellness means having a supportive network in which you can build healthy relationships and strive to become content with who you are.
🎥 Promote your own social wellness with this tip for studying online: Switch on your camera and be visible to get to know your classmates better!
Out with the old...VPN
If you have SAIT's old VPN client — Cisco AnyConnect — installed on a personal device, you can uninstall it. SAIT’s current VPN provider is GlobalProtect.

Canada Comeback Challenge
The Canada Comeback Challenge is a way for students to connect with employers and mentors, build their networks and add valuable experience to their resumé, all while contributing to Canada’s COVID-19 recovery.
Through a fun, skill-building national competition in an entirely online format, student teams will tackle real-world problems facing employers in Canada’s public, private and non-profit sectors and compete for a chance to pitch their ideas to an esteemed panel of judges.
