New roots in the living wall

July 28, 2015

SAIT's Savvy Science Girls summer campers put their green thumbs to the test under the supervision of SAIT's Green Building Technology Access Centre (GBTAC) team members Annaliese Behrens (GBTAC services administrator) and Rebecca Davidson (GBTAC principal investigator).

Behrens and Davidson gave a tour of the GBTAC Solar Lab (which included an explanation of how solar panels work) and then taught the girls how to place plants in our living wall. The Savvy Science Girls also visited our rooftop beekeeping area with GBTAC researcher Aja Horsley. The next group of Savvy Science Girls campers joins us in August.
