Update: Friday, September 24, 2021
Starting Monday, Sept. 27, SAIT will be implementing controlled access to campus as part of its vaccine verification program.
To access campus, you will need to upload proof of World Health Organization-approved vaccination into the SAITALERT app. If not vaccinated, physical proof (a digital or paper copy) of a negative lab-based PCR or rapid COVID-19 test (taken within the last 72 hours, subject to change) is required for those attending campus or participating in a SAIT-sanctioned off-campus event. Please also have your SAIT ID or a piece of government-issued picture ID ready to show. If you can't upload your proof of vaccination, ask for assistance by contacting email@example.com and carry your documents with you and be prepared to show them.
Please consult the campus map with vaccine verification-controlled entrances and make your way to one of these entrances when you arrive on campus. For all satellite campuses, use the main entrance.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2022, all SAIT students must be fully vaccinated with two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by the World Health Organization to access SAIT campuses or participate in SAIT-sanctioned activities. A negative COVID-19 test result will no longer be accepted in lieu of proof of vaccination unless there is a medical exemption or accommodation on protected grounds in place.
