Events at SAIT

SAIT has released guidance for SAIT-sanctioned events – on and off-campus.

It is the responsibility of the event organizer/host to be familiar with and to apply these requirements.

Event attendees are required to follow all SAIT-stipulated COVID-19 requirements.

Vaccine verification

There is revised information on the vaccine verification page outlining vaccine records accepted in Alberta. The Alberta vaccine record with the QR code and the SAITALERT QR code remain the primary records for accessing campus.

Note: you must also have your SAIT or government-issued photo ID ready to show. Images or screenshots of your ID will not be accepted.

Mandatory Vaccination Protocol

Please familiarize yourself with SAIT’s Mandatory Vaccination Protocol.

Beginning Jan. 1, 2022, members of the SAIT community will be required to be  fully vaccinated against COVID-19. On that date, rapid testing will no longer be accepted as an alternative to full vaccination, except as part of a previously-approved accommodation.
