Intramural official/score keeper

Officials and scorekeepers serve as front-line staff who are extremely key to the day-to-day operations of the Intramural Sports Program. They help provide an organized, safe environment for participants during league and tournament contests. Officials and scorekeepers ensure the safety of all patrons by performing game management duties as well as enforcing game rules. They must have the ability to make quick decisions and confident judgment calls. Experience in organized sports is strongly recommended but not necessary, as training is provided. 

Ice hockey ref 

Officials must enforce rules of the sport and attend all mandatory training clinics and meetings. Ice Hockey Officials should have a sound knowledge of the sport they are officiating and ability to make calls. Preferred consideration will be given to candidates who hold current certification or who have previous officiating certification and/or experience.

Special events - street team

Are you outgoing, social and enjoy event planning? If so, then this is the job for you! Our SAIT Recreation Street team staff will be the face of Campus Recreation in our efforts to publicize our events, facilities, services and programs. From spreading the word at various recreation events to putting up flyers around campus, this team will use all means possible in promoting the Department Campus Recreation. General interest in marketing and promotions an asset but not required.
