Program Description

This program prepares you for work in the field of Joint Ventures that maximizes and enhances the value of jointly owned assets in the oil and gas industry. Created in partnership with the Petroleum Joint Venture Association (PJVA), this comprehensive program is designed to give joint venture professionals the skills needed to ensure that a company's contractual obligations are met, and act as a liaison between the land, accounting, engineering, marketing and legal departments. You will learn all about the industry, from exploration to production, take an in depth look at various oil and gas facilities, review petroleum joint venture agreements required from well to sell - including relationships with land, joint owned facilities and producers. You will also learn about industry best practices, oilfield terminology and industry administrative procedures, gain an advanced understanding of fees, facilities, and movement of production through them.
