Heather Culbert - Senior Vice President, Corporate Services, Enerplus (ret. 2006).
Heather Culbert has held various senior positions in the oil and gas industry for over 25 years in the areas of human resources, management information systems and administration. She has developed significant expertise in strategic planning, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions.
Heather is currently the Chair of the Board of Governors for SAIT as well as on the Board of Export Development Canada. She serves as an advisor to United Way World on the United Way World Leadership Council. She is extensively involved in the community and is the 2013 recipient of the Doc Seaman Philanthropist of the Year Award. Other recognition includes the Alberta Centennial Medal for Community Service and SAIT Distinguished Alumna in 2003. Heather was recently awarded an Honorary Bachelor of Science degree from SAIT.
Heather has volunteered her time as the Board Chair of the Board for The United Way of Calgary, as the past Chair for the Promising Futures Campaign Cabinet for SAIT, as Board Trustee for the Alberta Cancer Foundation, a Campaign Committee member for the new Calgary Cancer Centre and as a founder of C5, the Concerned Citizens for the Calgary Cancer Centre.
