Photography
SAIT has become a popular site for photography (weddings, photoshoots, and even broadcasting) due to its picturesque architecture and spectacular views. Photographers wishing to photograph on SAIT campus are welcome to do so by following the guidelines below.
Making arrangements
The photographer must contact Conference Services to book a time and location on campus. This allows SAIT to schedule accordingly while minimizing interruptions with other sessions. Please note that our office operates within business hours (Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm), and it is recommended that photographers connect three business days before the photoshoot.
Fees
The cost of booking is $250 plus GST and insurance, which is non-refundable. Payments can be made by credit card or by cheque made out to SAIT. Filming
SAIT is thrilled to see that you have an interest in filming right here on campus! With our variety of settings available, SAIT is certainly a great place for camera action. SAIT has had the pleasure to be featured in:

Making arrangements
Guidelines have been developed to simplify obtaining:
- Motion Picture
- Video and television permit
- Film location agreement
Please note that all such activity on campus requires the approvals outlined in our Facility Agreement before such activity may begin. For convenience, the word "filming" as used in these guidelines shall include Motion Pictures, Filming, Videotape, Still Photography, and Digital Imaging.
SAIT's Conference Services is responsible for all arrangements pertaining to filming on this campus including processing the film permit and supervising the film shoot. Conference Services can be reached by phone at 403.774.4678 or by email at conference.services@sait.ca. Conference Services screens and processes all requests to film on campus and coordinates with all campus units on your behalf. News photography does not require a permit.
Fees
