Through the generous support of our donors, SAIT is proud to offer over $5 million in awards to students in almost every program. Awards are available to all qualifying SAIT students in recognition of academic success, financial need, community involvement and other areas of success and support.
- All program and general awards (January through June 2019) have a deadline of February 28.
- Even if you applied for awards in 2018, you will need to apply again for any 2019 awards before February 28.
- Apprentice and pre-employment awards have a deadline of May 30 and June 15. Please apply during your intake.
How to apply:
- Go to MySAIT.ca
- Click on the MyStudent tab
- Find Scholarships and Awards under the Finance Information section
- Enter your Student ID number to open the application form.

If you are enrolled at SAIT as a continuous, full-time student or apprentice you may be eligible to apply.
There are exceptions for part-time and distance learning students that are outlined in the guide, so please review the criteria carefully.
International students who are citizens other than Canada and who have been accepted at SAIT on a student visa are eligible for SAIT student awards. In order to collect the award, however, an international student must have either a Social Insurance Number (SIN) or an Individual Tax Number (ITN).
International students should contact the SAIT International Centre for details and assistance. The Centre may also suggest other awards that are directed specifically to international students.
The Alumni and Development office will notify students selected for awards within four months of the application deadline. Recipients will receive an email, telephone call or a letter with information about when and how to pick up the awards package.

Investments made by individual SAIT alumni and friends, associations, businesses, foundations and other organizations have helped countless students attend SAIT and achieve their goals. Our student awards are funded on an annual basis as well as through professionally managed endowments.
