Mentorship matters! Studies show having a mentor improves GPA and increases confidence. It's also a great way to meet new people and get some advice on navigating first-year student life.
The mentorship period for the spring/summer 2020 term begins May 19. Since we're not currently on campus, mentorship will kick off online.

Get what you need from what you read
Reading silently in your heads is one of the most passive techniques you can use for learning. The good news is, there are simple strategies to help you read more actively.
👉 Check out this six-step system — SQ4R — to get vital information out of your textbooks, into your notes and stored in your long-term memory. Then, connect with an academic coach for more.
📚 Did you know? Reading in small chunks of 20 minutes is the best way to absorb information. Plus, taking a break for two or three minutes between chunks allows your brain to process what you just read.
Get involved and connect with community
