How do numbers work? How is math used in the everyday world around us? Put on your thinking cap (literally) and get the answers to these questions. By exploring the math behind patterns, shapes and the world around us, you will be well on your way to become a mathketeer!

NOTE: This camp is for those looking to explore a variety of mathematical concepts and is not intended as a remedial math camp.

Online Crafty Science Kids (Gr. 1 - 3)

Discover the science - the how and why - behind your art projects by combining your inner budding scientist and artistic side! Showcase your creative skills through daily virtual crafts and learn the science behind the colours and materials used to create your projects.

Online Science Explorers (Gr. 4 - 6)

Ready to solve mysteries using forensic science to match fingerprints and decipher codes? Ready to use the scientific method to determine if certain myths are true or just made up? Well, this science-filled camp puts you to the test! Engage in virtual activities where you’ll get to conduct your own home experiments while gaining STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) skills, and discovering the secrets behind magical science experiments – like making water disappear – to wow your friends and family.

Online Baking Basics (Gr. 7 - 12)

An online introduction to the sweet world of baking. Designed for beginner bakers, learn baking fundamentals including measuring and scaling, kitchen safety and sanitation and the science and chemistry behind your favourite treats, all from the comfort of your home!

ESSENTIAL SKILLS: Continuous learning, digital technology, thinking

NOTE: Baking supplies and ingredients are NOT included in the registration price for this course. All participants are required to purchase their own supplies and ingredients in order to partake in Online Baking Basics. The supplies list for this camp will be shared via email, 2 weeks prior to camp beginning. 

ALLERGEN NOTE: Recipes will be available with a nut-free option. This course will use ingredients containing gluten, and substitutes will not be available for this specific allergen.
