I have a Master of Counselling degree from the University of Calgary (2021) and am a Registered Psychologist (2023). My background is varied and includes 15+ years of experience facilitating therapeutic, support, and community groups as well as contributing to awareness-based educational programs, public forums, and community art projects.
I take a holistic approach to my work with clients. I want to know what moves you, what is important to you, and how we can mobilize your strengths to galvanize change. I see counselling as a kind of wayfinding: Discovering how you uniquely orient yourself in social, emotional, cultural, and physical environments and then using this internal compass to help you navigate those worlds. This approach draws from many disciplines and is a creative and mindful approach for clients who are experiencing life transitions, interpersonal challenges, trauma, low self-esteem, anxiety, stress, or burnout. Wayfinding together we find new opportunities for healing, growth, and meaningful change.
I believe we all have the capacity for healing and change. I believe connection fuels us and that we all deserve to love and be loved. I believe you are more than your struggles.
I am a creative person and an avid learning: I love spending time writing music, creating art, photographing nature, learning something new, or just spending time in nature. I am a mother to four beautiful humans, and am so grateful to live with a dog, two cats, and a leopard gecko.

SAIT is located on the traditional territories of the Niitsitapi (Blackfoot) and the people of Treaty 7 which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Îyârhe Nakoda of Bearspaw, Chiniki and Goodstoney.
We are situated in an area the Blackfoot tribes traditionally called Moh’kinsstis, where the Bow River meets the Elbow River. We now call it the city of Calgary, which is also home to the Métis Nation of Alberta.
