Add to your SAIT experience in 2022

There are countless ways to level up your SAIT experience — from joining a club to being a peer mentor, from gaming with a league to student leadership with Saitsa to taking on How to Change the World. Check out the list and decide on a mix of opportunities that works for you.

👉 8 simple ways to get involved this year

Update your UPass

A UPass gives eligible SAIT students unlimited access to Calgary Transit for the term it's valid. Your UPass can be accessed directly on your mobile device through Calgary Transit’s My Fare app.

Vaccine requirement

As of Jan. 1, 2022, all students must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 to access SAIT campuses or participate in SAIT-sanctioned activities. A negative COVID-19 test result will no longer be accepted in lieu of proof of vaccination unless there is a medical exemption or accommodation on protected grounds in place.

Student support:

  • If you are unvaccinated and have on-campus classes scheduled, please call our Student Support line at 1-800-406-4726 to connect with an advisor.
  • Is your vaccine regime still in progress? Contact vaccine.verification@sait.ca.
  • For other student advising questions not related to vaccinations, please submit an online ticket with your question for a personal response

Multi-Factor Authentication rollout starts January 2022

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) supports cybersecurity at SAIT by requiring users to choose a secondary verification method to access applications through your SAIT email account — for example, confirmation through a mobile device or by entering a code. MFA is rolling out to students and apprentices throughout the Winter 2022 term and will affect your access to Microsoft 365 – SAIT email, Teams, Office and more.
