Managing your course schedule

Changing a course and setting or viewing your schedule

Students are automatically registered into their semester courses. If you wish to make changes to your schedule, add a course or drop a course you must meet with an Academic Chair or Student Services Coordinator — made only with their approval — during the add/drop period at the beginning of the semester to put together a suitable timetable.

If you are a student who wishes to switch their entire block schedule, you must find another student in the other block to switch with and changes can be made online.

You can view your course schedule online at mySAIT:

  • For classes starting in September, your schedule is available at the beginning of August
  • For classes starting in January, your schedule is available at the beginning of December
Academic probation

If you are on academic probation, you will be notified through your SAIT email account. It is your responsibility to check your SAIT email regularly.

Students who fail to achieve the specified minimum semester GPA or cumulative program GPA at the end of a term will be placed on academic probation. The Office of the Registrar will notify each student in writing regarding the terms of their academic probation.
