The orange shirt is an emblem of the abuse suffered by children in residential schools. We hold Orange Shirt Day in the spirit of reconciliation. Wear orange on Wednesday, Oct. 2, and hear Phyllis Webstad’s story of her experience with residential schools — 11 am and 4 pm in Macdonald Hall, Heritage Hall.
If you don’t have any orange in your closet, you can buy a shirt for $10 from Career Advancement Services, MB205, Stan Grad Centre.

Health and dental fee payment schedule
Starting this academic year, health and dental insurance fees will be charged each term instead of annually. The majority of students covered by the SAITSA benefits plan will notice a credit balance of approximately $117 in your account summary — half of the $235 annual health and dental fee. This credit will be carried forward and applied to your winter term health and dental fees.
If you want to request a refund and you originally paid your fees by cheque, email firstname.lastname@example.org with an explanation of the request, your name and student ID number, and allow six weeks for the refund to be issued. If you originally paid your fees by Visa or Debit, visit the Finance Cashier's office, MC201, Stan Grad Centre and bring a valid photo ID. You will also be asked for your student ID number.
If you’re an international student covered by the Study Insured plan and have questions about your health insurance fees, please contact the International Centre at email@example.com or 403.284.8852.
